Happy Thanksgiving!

We did something we don’t normally do–we decorated for Christmas early. What can I say? We were in the mood! An early happy Thanksgiving to us!

It’s been glorious weather here. Winter hasn’t pounced yet, but I’m sure it’s coming. I’m enjoying watching the last of the leaves fall to the ground. I’m also enjoying watching the many birds that gather around our backyard birdfeeder. They’re lively!

Some years are hard, and I struggle to get excited for the holiday season, but this year isn’t one of them. I’m looking forward to hanging out with family at Thanksgiving, shopping for Christmas presents, watching a ton of Hallmark Christmas movies, and getting out the Advent devotional I purchased last year. Yeah, I’m doing a repeat. Why not? It’s fun to make a new tradition.

I hope you have a lovely Thanksgiving, and to all my international friends, enjoy these final days of November!

PS: Thank you to everyone who purchased The Cowboy’s Christmas Compromise! It’s been on the Publishers Weekly bestseller list for mass market books for three weeks in a row (#5, #17, and #22)! What a blessing!!
