I’ve been sharing my favorite hymns here over the past several days. This is the final installment. This has been only a tiny sampling of the hymns I love. I hope they’ve given you comfort and strength.
My Favorite Hymns {Day Seven}
Today’s hymn makes me cry! Every time! Carrie Underwood and Vince Gill bring it home in this video.
For several days, I’m sharing my favorite hymns here. I hope they comfort and encourage you as well as give you strength.
My Favorite Hymns {Day Four}
Today’s hymn is an uplifting one. The tune I grew up with is this one. It might not be the version you’ve heard. It’s performed by the Lutheran Quartet. They do a beautiful job. I do wish you could hear this version by a full church congregation. It’s powerful!
I couldn’t sleep the other night. Instead of tossing and turning, I crept to my office and pulled my old hymnal off the shelf. As I paged through book, my favorite hymns kept popping up. Just reading the titles took me on a trip down memory lane.
Looking for a new release in inspirational romance? The second book in the Wyoming Sweethearts series, The Cowboy’s Secret, is in stores today! I had a blast writing this book. Here are some reasons you might want to pick it up (the price alone is worth it–$4.48 at Walmart and other superstores, and $5.99 at Barnes & Noble!).
Summer in Wyoming (I would take summer anywhere, at this point!)
No pandemics in this one–you can escape into a romance!
New release: Inspirational romance with Love Inspired
I’m also very excited that my book, Reunited with the Bull Rider, has been rereleased with Brenda Minton’s, The Rancher’s Secret Child, in a 2-in-1 Western collection. It’s in stores today, too, and you get both books for one low price!
With all the unsettling news, I pray you and your loved ones stay healthy and safe. Please remember to pray and to trust God’s plan. It isn’t always easy!
Joshua 1:9 “Have I not commanded you? Bestrong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
Is the coronavirus news making you read more? Or less? (For me, more!)
I’m a plotter. You probably know that by now. Over the past few months I’ve been gathering story ideas for a new series I want to write for Love Inspired. I feel really good about the second, third and fourth books’ plots. But book one? The story I spent the most time plotting? I got too cutesy.
I’m big on setting goals. By listing them and breaking them down into manageable chunks, I accomplish more than I think possible. My process is to set monthly goals, then at the beginning of each week, I create daily goals that will work within my current schedule.
Each month I share how I did the previous month as well as my new goals. Let’s get to it!
