2 Great Books Giveaway! Week 1: Her One and Only

It’s summer and two of my favorite authors recently had book releases!! I am such huge fans of both ladies, and what better way to introduce books to readers than by holding a giveaway? I’ll be featuring each book on Writer Wednesday, and on July 10, 2016, one blessed winner will win a gently used copy of Becky’s book and a brand new copy of Beth’s!

This week is Becky Wade’s Her One and Only, and next week I’ll feature Beth K. Vogt’s Almost Like Being in Love! Scroll to the end of the post for the easy entry options. I’ll include purchase links to both books too for those of you unwilling to wait!

Week 1: Her One and Only by Becky Wade

Her One and Only

After ten years in the NFL, super star Gray Fowler is accustomed to obsessive fans. But when Gray starts receiving death threats from a stalker, his team hires an executive protection agency to guard him until the culprit is caught. Dealing with bodyguards 24/7 is a headache, especially when one of them is a young, beautiful woman. How can a female half his size possibly protect him better than he can protect himself?

Dru Porter is a former Marine, an expert markswoman, and a black belt–none of which saved her from disaster on her last assignment. In order to rebuild her tarnished reputation, she’s determined to find Gray’s stalker and, since relationships between agents and clients are forbidden, avoid a romantic attachment between herself and the rugged football player with the mysterious past.

Yet every secret that leads Dru closer to the stalker also draws her closer to Gray. As the danger escalates, they’ll survive only if they can learn to trust their lives — and their hearts — to one another.

    1. Hi Steph! They are all stand alone books, but they follow siblings in the same family, so if you read them out of order, there will be a few spoilers!! I’ve read all of them, and I loved every single one!

  1. Both these books look great for summer reading. I have read one of Beth’s books before and Becky is a new author to me.

  2. I haven’t read either of these books, but they both sound like my kind of reads. Thanks for the chance.

  3. Oh these both sound so good! Both are new authors for me…I would love to read both of them! Would be such great summer reads!

  4. I love Becky’s books! She is one of my favorite authors to read. I look forward to reading Beth’s.

  5. I do. If a series is particularly good, and gets to feeling like an old friend, I feel sad when it ends. This book sounds good. I like the twist where the woman is the bodyguard for the man.

  6. Thank you for the chance to win some amazing books and introducing me to some new authors.

  7. I love Becky Wade’s books! I haven’t read any of Beth Vogt’s books yet, but they sound good.

  8. Two terrific authors & wonderful books they write & I am a big fan of both. Thanks for this generous giveaway.

  9. Love these blogs that introduce us to new authors! Both are new to me this year and I have really enjoyed the books of theirs that I have read.

  10. I wish there were less book series. I would prefer a slightly longer novel with characters that are more “fleshed out” than usual. So many time the author has to repeat information in subsequent books, just in case someone picks up the third book to read first, instead of reading the series in order. I’m not a “series” fan, but I’ve had to resign myself to the fact that it seems to be the way the industry wants it these days.
