Let’s Set November 2025 Goals!
My writer productivity skyrockets when I set monthly writer goals, and it’s time to share my November goals. At the beginning of each week I break them down into daily tasks that fit my current schedule. Do you know how great it is to finish projects? Of course you do! For me, setting monthly goals makes it all possible.
Every month I share how I did the previous month as well as what my new goals are. Let’s get to it!

I met ALL my goals?? What??
This hasn’t happened in a while, so I’m thrilled! My husband and I were able to join my sister, brother-in-law, and my mom up in Traverse City, Michigan, in late October, and did we have fun! The fall colors were amazing! And it’s such a pretty area of the country. We had bonfires, watched football, drove to sightsee, and generally had a great time. I loved it!
Also, HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who purchased The Rancher’s Mistletoe Baby! It hit #7 on the Publishers Weekly bestseller list! Woohoo!!
Working hard to make this month as productive and enjoyable as last month!

What are YOUR November goals?
“This is exactly what I needed! Practical and encouraging!” – Amazon Reviewer

Oh, good for you, Jill, meeting ALL your goals. Ah, October. Didn’t meet my health or exercise goals. Chipped away at my house goals but didn’t meet all of them. On the other hand, met my writing goals, which were to finish and edit my Irish-in-steerage tome. Looks like I’ll be able to submit it in January.
I DID corral most of my physical Christmas presents to other people and have them wrapped. Now it’s mostly gift cards. Also hung the outside Christmas lights. I have to do it because my husband doesn’t swear, ha ha. I’m a Christmas freak, so that part was easy. Also it gets cold here (NEW HAMPSHIRE) and snows a lot.
For November:
Writing: Edit the steerage story so it will be ready for submission.
Start an idea folder for my next fiction book/series.
Work on promotion for “Hilltop Reunion,” my fall 2025 release. It’s a Christmas romance, so the window is relatively small.
Polish the sequel to “Hilltop Reunion.” I did two books this year, the steerage story and the Hilltop sequel. Both need polishing, but the basics are there.
Home: Clean and pare things down.
Personal: Eat salads 3x week.
Walk three times a week.
thanks for helping me to focus.
