Have a Merry Christmas!

All week I’ve been writing and shopping and making lists and checking them twice. You know the drill. Christmas is almost here!

In all the busy-ness, I’m forcing myself to take breaks and savor the season. I’m making time to read Luke again–a chapter each day (thanks to my church for the handy-dandy checklist!). To enjoy Ruth Chou Simons’ Emmanuel: An Invitation to Prepare Him Room at Christmas and Always (as I’m writing this it’s on sale at Christianbook.com–linked!) for the second year in a row. To watch the birds and read a novel and start a jigsaw puzzle.

I find I can still meet my work goals and make time for all of the above. I just have to be deliberate about it.

I pray this season blesses you.

If you haven’t had a chance to read my FREE ONLINE SHORT CHRISTMAS STORY, The Christmas Cowboy Next Door, go to Harlequin.com and read all four chapters from their Free Online Reads tab! The link above will take you to the story page.

Have a very merry Christmas and a happy new year!
