Let’s Set November 2024 Goals!

My writer productivity skyrockets when I set monthly writer goals, and it’s time to share my November goals. At the beginning of each week I break them down into daily tasks that fit my current schedule. Do you know how great it is to finish projects? Of course you do! For me, setting monthly goals makes it all possible.

Every month I share how I did the previous month as well as what my new goals are. Let’s get to it!

How Did I Do? Jill’s October 2024 Goals

  • Writing
  • Write the first draft of a new Love Inspired novel. CHECK!
  • Content edit the new Love Inspired novel. CHECK!
  • Start the promotion process for my December release, The Cowboy’s Christmas Treasures. CHECK!
  • Health
  • Start new 12-Week plan by Heather Robertson. CHECK!
  • Eat at least 5 fruits and/or vegetables every weekday. NO CHECK.
  • Eat fewer carbs/lower calories on weekdays. NO CHECK.
  • Personal
  • Attend a local fall festival with my family. CHECK!
  • Pack away the summer clothes and get out my sweaters. CHECK!
  • Read four novels. I have three I’m looking forward to. I’ll figure out the fourth soon. CHECK!

I had to really push myself to meet my writing goals, but I did it! Yay! I kept my eyes on the prize–in my case, having time off in December. Yes, that means November will be crammed with writing, too, and that’s okay. I want to enjoy the Christmas season!

The health plan went well for three weeks, but I felt under the weather one week, and my food choices suffered. Oh well. It happens.

I had a great October on the personal front. We had the best time at the fall festival, and I’ve barely needed my sweaters since the weather has been so warm. I did end up reading four romance novels, and a few other books, too.
