Free Online Christmas Story!!

My free online Christmas story, The Christmas Cowboy Next Door, launches today! Hooray!! This story is part of Harlequin’s 12 Days of Christmas Author Takeover–and it’s available exclusively at Harlequin.com. Chapter One releases today. There are four chapters total, and a new one will release each day until the story is finished.

The thing I love about Harlequin’s Free Online Reads is that you don’t need to download anything or have an iPad or Kindle. You can simple read it on any device connected to the internet. Lars Denton has everything a cowboy could want—a full-time position as a ranch hand on Winston Ranch, good friends and a snug one-bedroom apartment in Jewel River. But with Christmas around the corner, loneliness creeps in. Janey Parker never expected to be back in Jewel River, but a temporary Kindergarten teaching position opened up, and she misses her mom. When Lars approaches her at Jewel River’s Christmas Festival, Janey’s eyes practically pop out of her head. The skinny boy she’d been best friends with until eighth grade is now a strapping cowboy.

Can Lars convince Janey she belongs in Jewel River? Or will they be facing a lifetime of lonely Christmases?
